Beau Fixe requires no sign-up and collects no personal data. Your search settings (dates, temperatures, departure city) and favourites are stored solely in your browser, on your device, and are never sent to us. You can erase them by clearing the site data.

Audience measurement: the site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) to count visits, only if you accept it. No measurement cookie is set and no data is sent to Google before you agree; you can decline with no effect on the site, and change your mind at any time. No advertising cookies are used. Data sources and licences

• Air, rain, humidity: ERA5-Land reanalysis, Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) / ECMWF, served by the Open-Meteo API (data under CC BY 4.0). Contains modified Copernicus Climate Change Service information 2026.
• Sixteen-day forecasts (the “Forecast” block on destination and place pages): Open-Meteo API, from national weather service models (data under CC BY 4.0). Places outside our destinations are identified through GeoNames, and their 2015–2024 records come from the same reanalysis, at the place's location.
• Sea temperature: NOAA OISST v2.1 (public domain).
• Photographs: Pexels and Unsplash, and their photographers.
• Places and cities: GeoNames (CC-BY). Coastlines: Natural Earth (public domain). Air network: OpenFlights. Basemap: OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles, OpenStreetMap data (ODbL).
• Beau Fixe database: the per-destination, per-fortnight climatology, the editorial reviews (safety zones, dated facts) and their assembly form a database protected under the EU Database Directive (sui generis right of the maker). Any substantial extraction or reuse requires permission; tables published under an open licence (/visa/, CC BY-SA 4.0) are expressly excluded.

Beau Fixe publishes climatology: the historical frequency of weather conditions observed between 2015 and 2024, for the dates you choose. It is in no way a weather forecast, and these statistics do not guarantee future weather. They are provided for information only, without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose; the publisher accepts no liability for travel decisions made on this basis.

The Beau Fixe brand, visual identity, texts and computation engine are the property of GVN CONSULTING. Climate data and photographs remain subject to their authors' licences, cited above.
