## Before you go

- **Safety** : Outside the areas advised against. Parts of the country are advised against (the west along the Algerian border (Chaambi mountains, Kasserine, Jendouba, Le Kef) and the south along the Libyan border (Ben Guerdane, Remada, military zone); Zarzis and Djerba are not covered); Monastir is not one of them. - **Vaccines** : typhoid recommended for most travellers; hepatitis A and hepatitis B if you are not already vaccinated; rabies depending on activities and areas visited. Routine vaccines up to date (measles in particular).
